  2. Hi Lola,
The Friends of Noe Valley Recreation Center thank you for posting information about our event! We hope that the fair will be a resource for parents in the area and will take some of leg work out of the search for kindergarten. We have put a lot of work into our website and hope it will be a useful tool for parents before and after the fair. The website is a good guide to schools in the Mission, Noe Valley, Bernal Heights, Potrero Hill, the 280/101 corridor, and the Market Street corridor.
Thanks again and we hope to see you at the fair.

  3. Thank you Friends of the NVRC! Great community involvement. I went to your website, but could not find the list of schools that are attending. Can you list the schools on your website (www.noeschools.com) or here on SFKFiles?

  4. 6:26 they are listed on the website. You have to sort by location, or K-8, or language immersion, or preschool. A great number of schools will be there.

  5. The weekend of the 24th & 25th is a big one for Noe and Glen Park families. St. Philips is having their festival: http://www.saintphilipfestival.org/
and Glen Park Elementary is having their grand re-opening. Saturday, September 24, from 11-3pm. There will be children’s activities like face painting, crafts, and a hula-hoop contest, live music, food and bake sale, and a raffle with some exciting prizes. If you live in the Glen Park AA, you might want to visit the school that Saturday to see the facilities and talk with parents, teachers, and administrators.
