For whatever it's worth, I visited this school and thought it had a lot going for it (the issues with Marin Prep set aside, as I know nothing about them). The facility is clean bright, and impressively teched-up, with Smartboards in every room. There are some interesting things going on in the curriculum--I saw a display of "math art" that was great. The teachers were very forthcoming about what goes on there (it was summertime). The parents were lovely, too. The only thing lacking was green outdoor space, but they are working on that. I'm not sure it's a perfect fit for our family, but I'm keeping it in the mix. As I said last year, we are looking at both public and private, and keeping an open mind about both. The wallet may not open far enough for private, but in theory we're amenable to the right school for our kid, whether public or private.
