Last chance Board of Ed Candidate Forum 10/30!

More than 55,000 children currently count on SFUSD for opportunities and choices in life, and it is our responsibility to ensure that the next leaders on the Board of Education are focused on closing achievement and opportunity gaps and have real insight on the talent and organizational capacity policies needed to enable positive change.

Please join us for an evening forum to hear directly from SFUSD Board of Education candidates about how they'll make the promise of excellent public education true for all SFUSD students.

  1. Just saw the agenda at the SFUSD site -- the board candidates will be discussing how they will close Achievement Gap as well as implement certain parts of the strategic plan, such as social justice.

    What is social justice? The buzzword train passed me by. Please explain!
